TODAY is World National Suicide Prevention Day.
Many of you know that this is something very close to my heart.
We have had a hard year, and even harder month of August.
It takes a lot of courage to put yourself on the spot.
Some of us have or have had those intrusive thoughts.
Some need check ins more often.
Mental Health is a reality. The stings is still there.
Know yourself and push yourself to find something that help you get rid of those thoughts.
For me is working out, meeting and spend time with friends.
EVERYBODY is vulnerable.
I would like to share something my lovely son wrote some weeks ago. I admire his heart and light. The human being he is not only for our family but for others. He’s that person you can always count on and who will welcome you to make you feel you belong. I can’t be proudest of who he is. Here are his words:
“We all need it to hear it from time to time
Doesn’t matter who you are or how worthy you feel of hearing it
But despite everything going on, whatever it is, you are loved. People notice you and care about you in ways you will never truly know.” Arturo.
You are NOT alone. Let’s hold hands. I am here.
Change the narrative about suicide.
Talk about it. Support each other.
